I’m a former network/sys admin turned patent attorney. I went from IT provider to IT user for a decade or so. Investigating a slow home internet connection led me to jump back into the deep end and I discovered Homelabbing. I upgraded my Red version of the Evi Nemeth (RIP) handbook to the latest Unix and Linux System Administration Handbook. I’m having a great time getting back up to speed.

I am also a bit of a retro computing nerd. I love my Apple IIe.
