I have been using FreeNAS/TrueNAS at home for about 10 years, but in a very simple way. Recently I have been building my home infrastructure on Proxmox on zfs. My Ubuntu workstation has been on zfs root file system for quite a few years. When necessary I study up on zfs to solve a problem, then slowly forget.
